Terms of Service
Effective October 2026
By creating an account or using Coachero, you agree to these terms. Please read them, especially the health disclaimer below.
Not medical advice. Coachero provides general fitness and nutrition information and AI-generated estimates. It is not medical, nutritional, or professional health advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Consult your doctor before starting or changing any exercise or diet program. You are responsible for your own health decisions.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Coachero. By creating an account or using the service, you confirm that you are 18 or older. Coachero is intended for adults and is not offered to minors.
Your account
You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Provide accurate information, and let us know if you suspect unauthorized access.
AI features
Coachero uses AI to estimate calories, analyze photos, generate summaries, and answer questions. These outputs are estimates and can be wrong. Verify anything important, particularly nutrition figures and anything affecting your health, and don't rely on them as your sole source of truth.
Pro subscriptions, renewal & cancellation
Coachero is free to use. Coachero Pro is an optional paid subscription that raises the daily limits on AI features and adds the Pro-only features described on the pricing page.
- Price. Pro is $12.99 per month or $89 per year (US dollars), plus any applicable tax. The price and billing period are shown before you pay, and you are charged the price shown at checkout.
- Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (every month or every year, depending on the plan you chose) and your payment method is charged the then-current price, until you cancel. Your first payment is taken when you subscribe.
- How to cancel. You can cancel online at any time: on the website, go to Me › Settings › Account › Manage or cancel subscription. You can also email hello@coachero.co from the address on your account and we will cancel it for you. Cancelling stops all future charges. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, then your account returns to the free plan with all your data intact.
- Deleting your account cancels your subscription immediately, and no further charges are made.
- Renewal reminders. For yearly plans, we email you before each renewal with the date, the amount and how to cancel.
- Price changes. If we change the price of your plan, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies, with how to cancel. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, our payment processor retries it for a short time. If it still fails, your account returns to the free plan; your data is not affected.
- Refunds. Except as required by law or stated in these terms, payments are non-refundable and we don't refund partial periods. If you were charged in error or forgot to cancel a renewal, email us within 14 days of the charge and we'll review it.
- Unauthorized charges. If you see a Coachero charge you didn't make or authorize, email hello@coachero.co whenever you notice it, with the date and amount. We will investigate, cancel any subscription that was set up without your authorization, and refund unauthorized charges. The 14-day window above does not apply to unauthorized charges, and this does not limit any right you have to dispute a charge with your card issuer.
- EU and UK residents. You have the right to withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days of your first payment, without giving a reason, and receive a full refund. To withdraw, email hello@coachero.co from the address on your account with a clear statement that you are withdrawing.
- Payment processing. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Android app. In the United States, the Android app may let you buy Pro through Google Play's external links program: Google shows a notice that you are leaving the app, and you complete the purchase on our checkout page, processed by Stripe under these terms. Elsewhere, the Android app does not sell subscriptions. However you subscribe, you manage and cancel Pro on the website, and Pro applies to your account everywhere you sign in.
Acceptable use
- Don't misuse the service, attempt to break or overload it, or access other users' data.
- Don't use Coachero for any unlawful purpose or upload content you don't have the right to submit.
- Don't attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent security or usage limits.
Your content
You keep ownership of the data you enter. You grant us the limited license needed to store and process it to operate the service for you (including sending relevant content to the AI provider to generate features you request). How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy.
Availability & changes
We may add, change, or remove features, and we may set or adjust usage limits (including limits on AI features by plan). We aim for reliable service but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Termination
You can stop using Coachero and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated or to protect the service.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coachero is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any health outcomes arising from your use of the app or reliance on its output.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change materially affects a paid subscription, we will email subscribers before it takes effect. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
